We’ve been having some photography fun with some of our new arrivals from Wonders. Our spring and summer ’18 concept is based on bold shapes and vibrant colours, representing everything we love – the hot sun, clear ocean and soft sands beneath our feet.
Wonders C33113 is a contemporary twist on a classic loafer. The Extralight™ XL Fly sole makes for ultra-comfortable wear all day.
Wonders A7226 is a beautifully light metallic brogue that can be paired with sharp tailoring and denim. The leathers are super soft, and the studded heel creates an eye-catching detail.
Wonders I6850 is a gorgeous little T-bar in a stunning red suede. Perfect for adding a feminine touch to any summery outfit.
Coming soon! C33110 is a new shape for us this season. The sole is extra-light and the leather is oh so soft. We love the unusual top line shape and this beautiful shade of blue. Keep your eyes peeled for when it lands in store!

The time has come to shake off the winter blues and pack the boots in the cupboard for the new season. Those bright and beautiful skies are here, and the arrival of our spring and summer collections is giving us lots to shout about. Okay, so it’s not quite sandal weather yet, but what about something a little lighter?
For work, take a look at the loafers. If you’re feeling super smart then head for our very own Golden Boot 3973 Turville. They have a beautiful, traditional feel, and are available in tan, navy or a creamy patent.
Gabor offer Isabelle 64.2211, a more casual option in a dusty pink suede, with a brilliantly white sole unit.
If you’re after something that’s easy to wear and a little bit of fun, then you’ll adore 3615 Lozoya from Wonders. They’ve got a chunky white sole outlined with jute, sweet tassels on the front, a little bit of broguing and plenty of glitter.
For something a little more eye-catching, we have Majestic from Ash. Its silver leather upper brandishes bright metallic stars, and will certainly draw some attention.
New in from Tamaris is the perfect slip-on sneaker – 24609 Aster, available in black and ivory. The elegantly shaped front is covered in diamontes, so you can sparkle your way through the week.
If you’re feeling bold then 6107 Carrion from Wonders are ideal. You can’t miss them…wear them with a sweet pencil dress in high summer – they’re a great alternative to heels for a wedding, with their delicately scalloped topline.
Hispanitas 74822 Macadam are beautiful with light blue jeans,
and Epworth 62.421 from Gabor offer another brightly coloured alternative, with a little wedge heel.
We’re getting some beautiful heels in for the summer. If you’re starting to think about wedding outfits then now is the time to start browsing shoes and bags. Year after year Peter Kaiser offer their well-loved classic shapes, and this season is no different. 75310 Dalia from Hispanitas is an ideal loafer-heel go between. The chunky silver chain across the front sits perfectly with the colour matched block heel. Dalia is available in black suede and patent combi, or a simple nude.
Having organized a trip to Holland, Jane was after a new pair of boots, and some simple shoes that would last the transition from day to evening.
Jane originally tried a pair of Hispanitas ankle boots, but they didn’t look quite right on her feet, so tried on a pair of beautiful Barkers, as suggested by Ed, of course. The suede is in a soft burgundy, with a couple of leather buckles around the ankle and a solid leather heel.
They’ll look great with thick grey tights, and a woollen skirt, or even just jeans and a chunky knitted jumper.
The Peter Kaiser evening shoes are in a similar colour palette to the boots, in a deeper purple shade with a black elastic section at the top of the foot.
The toe elegantly tapers inward and the tiny lift at the back make them a sophisticated alternative to a ballet pump.
Jane’s been playing about with a few outfits to match with each pair, meaning her suitcase won’t be totally filled with different shoes for different clothes! A silk printed scarf and simple sparkly beads go beautifully with a crisp white shirt and funky trousers.
One thing she won’t be forgetting, are her new shoe trees…
For the new Autumn/Winter 2016 Wonders collection, colours are versatile and the finishing are classic and quirky. The flatform heel adds a little height, but with no discomfort.
3202 Perilla has a solid, chunky wedge heel and features a beautiful burgundy patent leather upper, with a cute fringe and mock laces. Available in black and cherry.
With a slightly lower heel, 3350 Juniper is your go to wing tip brogue for working through winter. Its corrugated sole unit makes it super light and super flexible.
3344 Lovage has a lower heel too, and a little fringe in mink. They’re smart, comfortable, and like all Wonders shoes, totally unique.
3348 Saffron is a great ankle boot from Wonders this season. Available in black leather or blue suede, they’ve got a chunky, flexible sole and elasticated side panel.

We’ve introduced some wonderfully unusual brands to the store this season, and Chie Mihara is one of them. They’re designed by women, for women, so they’re feminine beautiful and above all, comfortable.
Chie draws inspiration from vintage fashion. Everything from dainty 1930s designs to bold colours of the 1980s can be found in these shoes. As she’s travelled the world she’s managed to hand-pick the best aspects of design from each country. From Brazil, come fun, frolics and femininity. Japan’s forward thinking, innovative and meticulous design structure make the functionality possible for each pair. Having stomped about the US, the appreciation for comfort and practicality was developed and heading to Spain, meant each product was hand crafted to the absolute highest standards, with the best quality materials.
The unexpected shapes and lines of this season’s collection are perfectly met with beautiful, textured materials; grained leather, hand brushed suede, napa leather, lizard embossed. The colours range from nude to dark brown, and even involve a rich burgundy.
Fan is a classic example of those 1930s influences. The heel is the ideal shape for shake, rattle and rolling, but the top line is where this shoe gets really interesting.
The lines create just enough intrigue to flatter natural shape of the foot, and the fabric choice adds a bolder touch. Add in a pretty ankle strap and peep toe, and we have, ladies and gentleman, the ideal summer wedding/hen party/soiree/lindyhop heel.
Juver is a real looker, with a chunkier feel. The heel is less shaped and they feature a small wood-look platform. This is where those beautiful colour combinations come in. That rich burgundy is matched with a soft, off white.
The adjustable buckle just skims under the anklebone, and the fresh front strap creates a stunning shape, just creeping up onto the arch of the foot. Available in 37-39 (they’re running out, quick!)
This last style, Rossa, is truly indicative of that 70s/80s vibe previously mentioned.
That vibrant orange suede is more than eye catching, and the shaping of the top line is organic and flower like, again, creating a lovely shape on the arch of the foot and at the toe. The heel is the chunkiest and tallest of them all, and cannot be ignored.
Like all of these styles, the inner is leather, for that comfort we all crave and the ankle strap is fully adjustable. Available in sizes 37-40.
These are just a few of the beauties available. You’re going to have to take a visit to our BRAND NEW women’s department to find out more. Yes. I did say brand new women’s department…
