For the fifth year running we showcased the very best of our country lifestyle collection at the Weald of Kent Ploughing Match in Horsmonden. We were again joined by the fantastic R.M. Williams team for more sun shine, shoe-shining and a few glasses of Turner’s Cider!
As well as a huge marquee filled to the brim with beautiful shoes, boots, clothing and accessories, we offered a unique shoe-shining experience, all on the back of a beautiful 1939 Indiana White pick up truck. We kitted it out with all the shoe creams, brushes and R.M. expertise necessary to bring battered Chelsea boots back to life – along with more cider (OBVIOUSLY)
Amongst the huffing and puffing of curiously antiquated steam locomotives sat the stunning tailoring from our Magee and Dubarry collections. We were also thrilled to boast our very own Spanish-made leather loafers – fresh off the press for Autumn/Winter ’19. The classic penny loafer has been revived with mock-croc premium leather.
Fairfax & Favor and Le Chemeau were expectedly popular this year, alongside old favourites like Schoffel, Hunter and Barbour. We particularly loved these feather-trimmed trilbies in autumnal shades of berry and biscuit, sitting perfectly with Gianni Conti and F&F handbags.
We were blessed with a sunny day, a fantastic team from our store and R.M. Williams and an abundance of wonderful customers (plus loads of adorable dogs!) A huge thanks to everyone involved with the whole show.
