It’s half term again and the shop is ready, the staff are prepped and the shoe boxes are piled high. The Golden Boot is ready for Back to School and we are here to give your our top tips to make this manic time a little less stressful.
Tip Number 1: Don’t be put off by how busy the shop looks. We use a successful, tried and tested, ticketing machine method. So grab a ticket and you’ll be seen to in no time. Even if it seems there is a large queue, we’ve more staff than ever this year so you’ll be seen to with a smile very quickly.
Tip Number 2: Don’t forget your socks! With this lovely English weather we are experiencing, a lot of socks can be forgotten. The fitting process is a lot easier for our staff if your child is wearing their school socks so we can get the perfect fit.
Tip Number 3: Avoid the rush. For us, the last two weeks in August are our busiest. If you can come in earlier, we will be sure to give plenty of growing room, given there is another month until school starts. If you want to brave the last minute rush, early morning and late afternoon are our quietest periods.
