Hues Of Blue

Hues Of Blue

Spring is such a wonderful time of the year. From the waste land of Winter emerges little colourful bursts, memories of the past months are forgotten and theirs a great feeling in the air. I love this time of year as we place alot of emphasis on transforming the store from dark shades of brown and black to an explosion of colour. In the words of Robin Williams “Spring is nature’s way of saying, Let’s party”!

What girl doesn’t adore their Spring/Summer wardrobe, you get to shake off those heavy layers and be adventurous with colour. One thing I adore about working at The Golden Boot is what we get to wear. Every season we introduce a new seasonal colour and we get to dress accordingly. It allows us to be a little individual and a little adventurous, but put us all together and we definitely look a team.

So this spring we unanimously opted for Cobalt blue and I simply love it!

This without doubt is the season’s coolest colour. Just take a peek at Julia, Taylor and Kylie!

We launched our new colour last Saturday. Everyone looked fabulous so I took the opportunity to take a few snaps of our managers Clare, Jane and Trudi and I want to talk you through their outfits. Shoes and all!

Clare wears Ugg Atasha Strip  sandals. I love those interest wedge heel’s, they are a really eye catching interpretation of an Espadrille, well done Ugg! Her top is from Coast and her turned up chino’s from  Zara. I noticed Clare had also made a  sneaky purchase of a pair of  Wonders 1735 Menorca. In her own words “I simply love Wonders”, and so do I. This bold two tone brogue is real statement piece.

The funny thing is Clare wasn’t a fan of this colour yet everyone keeps telling her she looks great in blue!

Jane’s top and trousers are both from Wallis and she has chosen to team this outfit with a stunning pair of  Hispanitas 49352  shoes. I love the clean lines on this style, with no ornate trims just a contrast blue cap with a stripe of metallic. I know we have already had a great reaction to this style.

Trudi has opted for  Clarks Hotel Image, its cut out sections keeps this masculine style looking light and Summery. Trudi maintains this preppy styling with her bowed top from Topshop, turned up chino’s from Zara and a cool little cardigan from New Look.
