The First pair of Chelsea boots were designed by Joseph Sparkes Hall who was bootmaker to Queen Victoria.
The boot was first made for the famous royal monach in the year of her coronation – 1837, she then became an avid fan of the footwear. The Chelsea boot is a constant classic appearing in our range year after year but for AW12 it has had a massive resurgence in popularity.
Here are some of our favourites –
Wonders Burghley is a Chelsea boot with a stacked wedge heel. The rich tan suede is a fabulous colour for the Autumn.
Ecco Sphere is a great choice for comfort, it makes a good everyday boot with it’s classic styling and shape. Made from premium soft leathers that will give to the natural shape of your foot the flat Chelsea boot mixes classic styling with a supportive fit.
Hispantas Bristol has a more formal take on the Chelsea boot with a floral print elasticated gusset and high heel. Beautifully designed the style will look great with skinny jeans.
