On Sunday a group of 8 members of The Golden Boot team took part in the Race for Life at Mote Park.
All dressed in pink for the occasion we braved the rain which started during the warm up and pretty much carried on throughout the race.
There was a great turnout and everyone at Mote Park was in really good spirits ready for the big event.
In our group of 8 Harriet stormed ahead coming in first with an amazing time of just 30 minutes.
Where as Katie and Sam took it a little easier……
But we all made good time, coming in within the hour and even smiling at the end.
It was a brilliant day and a great way to raise money for such a worth while cause, everybody has been extremely generous and I am very happy to confirm that we have raised over £500.00 with money still coming in.
