A pair of white linen trousers is a versatile wardrobe essential for the summer.
I bought these linen trousers from Next for my weekend trip to Rome and I need to travel light so to get the most out of the purchase and wear them twice. Let’s hope I don’t spill anything down them!
In the day, a lot of sightseeing and walking is on the agenda. We are there for such a short time and want to fit so many things in that i’m going to be on my feet a lot. I’m heading out there in late June and looking at the weather it’s going to be hot, roughly 28-30 degrees and so cool and comfortable shoes are a must. I have chosen Merrell Lorelei Emme as my daytime shoes. The mesh upper will hopefully keep my feet cool and it’s so lightweight it will be ideal for the plane and walking around in the heat. I really like the fact that the Merrell design isn’t too casual, I think it will look great with my linen trousers and a blue shirt.
For the evening I wanted something a little special to go out to dinner in. I have a lovely beaded top in a mushroom colour which goes nicely with my white trousers and Gabor Dazzling . I like the elegant trim across the foot and I have had lots of Gabor shoes previously. I always find their shoes comfortable and as I pick their more classic designs I wear them year after year.
