Naot Kayla and Gabor Daffodil

During the summer months I wear nothing else but Naot Kayla for my walk to and from work.

I can honestly say that the comfort I get from these sandals is second to none, the soles wear really well too!

My last pair lasted for two seasons but on getting the sandals out for this summer I finally had to admit that I needed a new pair. I decided to go for the black leather version as my work trousers are black. I personally wouldn’t wear them with a skirt as they aren’t smart enough but I do wear them out of work with linen trousers and they look OK.  They’re great for holidays especially if you do a lot of sightseeing and city walking.

My only criticism would be that the sandy coloured foot bed can get a little grubby with wear but if you can put up with that you will be more than pleased with how comfortable they are, and for me that is the most important factor.

When I get to work I like to look a little more formal, especially if I’m in a skirt so I change into a smarter pair of sandals. This year I have chosen Gabor Daffodil.

I have only just bought Gabor Daffodil so it is still early days but so far, so good. I’ve worn them without tights and they haven’t rubbed which is always a good sign! The sandal looks good with skirts and trousers so they are perfect for me at work.

As I said before I don’t like light coloured foot beds and so I love the fact that Gabor have changed their insoles from beige to black. This means that you don’t get any marks where your feet sweat. My previous Gabor sandals had this light beige lining and I really didn’t want that again as I use them so much that they get marked really quickly.

So with my two sandals I’m now all set for my summer work wardrobe. All I need now is a pair of casual sandals for out of work, I have my eye on Gabor Mary as I love the cork wedge and platform. I just need to save my pennies!
