Hunt for the Best Easter Chocolate

Hunt for the Best Easter Chocolate

At The Golden Boot we take our customer service very seriously, and so when somebody suggested that a free Easter present sent with every web order received throughout Easter week would make a nice surprise for our customers a debate ensued on which would be best to send.

Naturally we all wholeheartedly agreed that chocolate and Easter go hand in hand, the arguments started though when we had to narrow down our choice of which chocolate to go for. We narrowed it down to three options, Nestle Milky Bar Egg, Cadbury’s Cream Egg and the Lindt bunny. Being strong believers in Democracy, we put it to a vote. Each chocolate had a representative member of staff lobbying their choice of chocolate, here are their manifestos.

Tracy is a Cream Egg fanatic, here’s is what she had to say-
The Cadbury’s Cream Egg is to the chocolate world what Peter Kaiser ‘Herdi’ is to the world of ladies shoes! Just like ‘Herdi’, the Cream Egg oozes class and sophistication and for chocoholics like me it is the ultimate chocolate fix! I love wearing my shoes nearly as much as I do eating a Cream Egg, if I can do both together, I am a happy little bunny! I don’t wait for a special occasion to wear my shoes and I don’t wait until Easter to eat a Cream Egg!

Remember the old saying… always wear the best shoes and always eat the
best chocolate! That for me has got to be my leopard print shoes and my Cadbury’s
Cream Egg!

Jane is a lover of Milky Bars and so fought the white chocolate corner, here is her take on why Milky Bar Eggs should be the top choice. Just like the legend of the Milky Bar Kid, the Peter Kaiser Pallia will stand the test of time. The creamiest colour, the highest heel this shoe has the best appeal.

Smooth and creamy white chocolate delicious any time this Easter, so join me and go with the trend for nude shoes and chocolate. Pallia is the shoe for me, just like the Milky Bar Kid, because only the “best is good enough”!

Lydia went Swiss choosing to represent the Lindt Bunny. Here is her speech for why she is backing the Easter Bunny for 2012.
In December Father Christmas pops up everywhere (He even took time out of his busy schedule to appear in our Kids window), but when Easter time rolls round, the Bunny is often forgotten. (Let’s here an awwwww for the Easter Bunny!).

This Easter I want all that to change. This year should all be about the long ears and cute nose, and if it is formed of sweet, milky chocolate all the better! But we also have a furry variety of bunny in store, the Funky Feet Bunny crawler, with matching hat is a must have accessory for all tiny Easter Bunny fans out there.

Lindt definitely know their stuff, and are doing their bit for Easter Bunny recognition. Master chocolatiers since 1845. They have been driven by their passion for chocolate to create these famous little bunnies, and apparently famous Tennis player Rodger Federer can’t get enough of them. So I urge you to join the Bunny revolution and go Lindt and Funky Feet for Easter!

After lots and lots of taste testing, deliberation and multiple trips to the shops, we made our final decision. To find out which we thought was the best Easter chocolate be sure to order next week. One gift will be sent per pair ordered while stocks last.
